Forest Hills Country Club (Sir James)

The Sir James Golf Course at Forest Hills Country Club is well designed so that it is enjoyable and challenging at the same time. Golfers of every skill level should enjoy this well maintained course set at the foothills of Khao Yai National Park. Several flower arrangements, small water falls, lakes and creeks make the Sir James golf course one of the more attractive golf courses in Thailand.

The golf course is laid out on rolling hills and surrounded by virgin forests. Embraced by hills, the greens feature rock gardens and waterfalls, while tall trees grow in the midst of undulating fairways. The greens are well guarded by bunkers and several holes feature difficult doglegs and carries over water hazards.
The club house, while specifically designed for locals caters to all golfers’ needs.

This challenging, but not too difficult course, runs up and down gentle hills between rock gardens, waterfalls and streams. Undulating fairways and pleasant breezes make this lovely course worth the trip from Bangkok.

Mission Hills Khao Yai Golf Club

This course is situated between 2 valleys in the mountains of the Khao Yai National Park and is fairy tough, winding beneath the steep hills that border the park. It is easy to forget about the score, considering the breath taking views over the surrounding hills, but the large bunker arrays - typical for Nicklaus - will bring one back to reality quite soon.

Course makes a wonderful package when combined with Kirimaya. However, conditions vary from excellent to fair depending on time of year and on-goinfg mantenance programs. Also, recent high seasons have seen the course booked by large asian tour groups, making tee tinmes hard to get at certain times of the year. Life renews itself constantly in the forests and hills of Khao Yai, Mission Hills (Khao Yai) is located at kilometre 20 in the foothills of Khao Yai, grow in size and stature in complete harmony with its natural surroundings. Covering an immense area of over 1,500 rai, where the average temperature is always 7 c lower than else where in the area, it will encompass an 18 - hole golf course, scenic hotel and club house. The 450 rai of golf course is designed by Jack Nicklaus. Our challenge was to preseve the original forest in the midst of an PGA standard golf course. And we've created a first of Thailand.

Panorama Golf and country Club

The Voyage Panorama Golf Resort is on the way to Khao Yai National Park and can be reached either from Bangkok or Korat. The relatively long driving time is rewarded by the golf course which has been build partly through the local virgin forest and partly on a bluff overlooking the whole Khao Yai valley.

The golf course at Voyage Panorama closely follows the contours of its mountain-rimmed valley host and is often pleasant and breezy. For its hazards, the designers have relied on the natural contours of the land, although water does intrude on holes three, four and 15. Naturally, fairways are often sloped as they follow the land contours, so uphill, downhill, and side-hill lies are a plenty.

There is a particularly difficult shot on par-4 10th , where the player has to tee-off over a valley and across the face of a hill to a blind green that doglegs left. Better hitters will be able to reach the green in one shot, however if you have not played here before this can be quite intimidating as it looks as if a well struck tee shot will end up in the jungle above left.

The golf course despite its challenging layout is kept in average to good conditions. Some of the holes have greens which roll fast and true, while others, especially those on the font nine are cut less often and are much slower. Fairways and tee boxes tend to be in good condition except in areas that do not get much sun due to overhanging tree limbs. Rough and bunker areas, while playable, always need some tidying up to be on par with the rest of the golf course.

A clubhouse includes facilities for all the family including 2 nice swimming pools, local and international restaurants and basic overnight lodging facilities. The natural environment and stunning panoramic views makes for a nice 19th hole setting.
Voyage Panorama Resort & Golf Club is the golf course with 18 holes on the way to Nakhon Ratchasima from Pak Chong via the route 2. It takes about 3 hours to reach the golf course from Bangkok by car. The 18 holes are surrounding the lodges in the project area and laid out on a hilly country.

Players can enjoy golf and a good view of the area at same time. Big, but modest clubhouse is overlooking a lake and swimming pool
